View or add employees by selecting RESOURCES -> EMPLOYEES.

Click NEW to create or click an employee to view/edit

EMPLOYEE NAME & ADDRESS

Provide their basic contact information.  Stage name will be their nickname if used.

EMPLOYEE CONTACT INFO

Phone type should be MOBILE if you want to text them from within Gigbuilder. Alt phone or Home Landline are additional contact numbers.  Provide also their email address.  The remaining fields are optional

WORK INFORMATION

All information is optional.  SS# used for the 1099 helper, Days available shows in the employee selection for events.  If they have a single job role, set it here.

ADDITIONAL JOB ROLES

If your employee or subcontractor has multiple job roles (ie different pay for different work), set them here.  Roles can be added by pressing the + button next to the 2nd, third role, etc., labels.

GIGBUILDER ACCESS

The top field will be their login username.  It is your username_ plus the one-word username you provide.  Password can be anything you desire.

If you need to remove employee access, simply change the password.

Access Level -- should be employee, otherwise they will have mostly full access to Gigbuilder including other employee events.

The remaining fields limit what the employee can access.  If access level is not set to employee, these fields are meaningless and don't apply.

MISC NOTIFICATIONS

The only field we use internally is the Default Contract which can be used when sending a new event to a subcontractor.

EVENT NOTIFICATIONS

Assign:  Mostly set to ADMIN or ALL where ALL would allow the prospect checking availability to also look for their particular entertainer.

Timecard:  Select YES to have them clock in/out at each event

Approval: When a resource is assigned to a new event, how is this processed?  Instant is automatic but the others can send notifications or request approval.
